Job Overview
Role: Sr. Manager - Cloud & Platforms Engineering
Location: Mumbai
We have an exciting opportunity at a Staff+ level to provide strategic leadership and advance our SRE, DevOps, Integration team & platform engineering team toward scalable and cloud ready vision.

It is a Sr. Manager role. In this role, you will provide thought leadership & will manage multiple capabilities along with their leaders. Almost 3 to 4 groups along with their managers reports into you. Your role is more to provide strategic vision and drive organisation for the success during critical transformation and complex modernizations of Hosting, third party platforms, reporting enablement capabilities, CI/CD and Integration Platforms for cloud and lead in cloud adoption journey.

  • Engage, influence, and evangelize technical practices with development, operational and product groups to align technology service/solution delivery.
  • Provide thought leadership for quality accountability within the organization with well-defined processes, metrics, and goals for process quality.
  • Provide thought leadership to define or stabilized various process and best practices
  • Define & drive availability, latency, scalability and efficiency of General Mills applications development by instilling engineering reliability into our development life cycle with a focus on fault tolerant approaches.
  • Define vision for capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation and other non-functional systems requirements.
  • Must be able to define and report progress on strategic initiates and project level tasks to all stakeholders including senior executives, clients and use effective communication approaches with each constituency.
  • Implement metrics driven processes to ensure service quality targets are met.
