Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Interior Designer with 2+ years of professional experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for design, an eye for detail, and the ability to work on diverse projects including residential and commercial spaces. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects / designers, and project managers to bring innovative design concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design Conceptualization: Develop creative and functional design concepts for various spaces in line with client requirements, budget, and project timelines.
- Space Planning: Plan and design layouts that optimize space usage while maintaining aesthetics, functionality, and safety standards.
- Material Selection: Select and source appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the design vision.
- Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, budget, and requirements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- 3D Visualizations & Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D design in SketchUp, CAD drawings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
- Team Management: Manage a team of junior designers and set design directions for them to take the project forward. Check drawings and set standards for detail drawings.
- Site Supervision: Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, as needed
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, technologies, and sustainable practices to bring fresh and modern ideas to projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail in design aesthetics, space planning, and material selection.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and solve design and construction-related challenges on-site.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changes in project scope or client preferences.
