o Due diligence on enquiries & provide best suited solutions to customers.
o Study the technical specifications, commercial requirement, prepare comments & deviations, submit
proposal. o Support sales team in technical closure & secure business.
o Participate in /conducting customer seminars and to make technical presentations as & when require.
o Working for achieving Orders & Sales targets as per Business plans.
o Participate in pre-bid technical and commercial discussions along with sales team, Prepare compliance
& deviations on Customer specifications, closing technical part, Scope & get agreement from Customer.
o Support Sales team with market information/intelligence to perform Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis
and prepare quality proposal. Equip sales team with all necessary inputs on competitor s strategy &
offerings.
o Provide necessary support to Project Management team, Prepare Specification Sheet along with
Complete scope for Sales Hands Off.
Education
Essential : - B. Tech / BE Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Desired : - Application engineering of MV Drives, HT Switchgear, PLC etc, preferred location Ahmedabad. Knowledge:
1. Understanding of various Medium Voltage Drives Technologies in present context. 2. Knowledge of allied products like Switchgear, PLC, Motors.
3. Application knowledge for Medium Voltage Motors & Drives, with understanding of its sizing & selection,
International and Indian standards, specifications etc.
4. Understanding of Indian and International contract/commercial terms, INCOTERMS and Indian Duty and
Taxation regulations
5. Knowledge on potential customers, understanding their requirements & providing product, technical and
engineering solution through sales team, gaining customer acceptance/approval by explaining or
demonstrating value proposition and operational improvements for their processes.
Skills and abilities:
o Understanding of basics of Electrical & Power Electronics Engineering. o Good communication, presentation & interpersonal skills. o Passion to Succeed and eager to learn new technologies.
Experience:
o Experience 6-8 years in the field of MV Drives
o Desired Experience: - Application engineering of MV Drives, HT Switchgear, PLC etc. - Knowledge of IEC standards.
