Job Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and implement automated solutions for creating and managing Proxmox templates.
Develop systems to provision and destroy agent VMs on demand via Jenkins pipelines.
Manage and maintain Windows and Proxmox virtual environments.
Implement and maintain configuration management using tools like DSC, Ansible, and SaltStack.
Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Build and manage Docker containers for both Linux and Windows-based applications.
Configure and manage cloud-init for automated VM initialization.
Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Jenkins DSL, Groovy, and Jenkins Shared Libraries.
Implement Jenkins Configuration as Code (JCasC) for scalable and repeatable CI/CD setups.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

46 years of experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering roles.
Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Proxmox VE.
Hands-on experience with DSC, Ansible, and SaltStack for configuration management.
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Experience with Docker for containerization in both Linux and Windows environments.
Familiarity with cloud-init for VM provisioning.
Deep understanding of Jenkins, including DSL scripting, pipeline creation, JCasC, and shared libraries.
Proficient in Groovy scripting.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
