Job Description

  • Handle Internal and External stakeholders of projects.
  • Lead a team to deliver the expected business results.
  • Mentor Junior consultants in the team and provide assistance in case needed.
  • Able to execute unit testing to ensure the sanity of his/her developments.
  • Able to realistically estimate the requirements from an effort and cost perspective.
  • Able to realize the development/requirement as per the technical specification provided.
  • Adhere to all coding standards and performance measures, as per customer/organizations guidelines
  • Participate in testing activities along with functional counterparts and provide quick resolutions
  • To be able to coordinate with functional/business POCs for requirement analysis and to provide appropriate technical solutions
  • Coordinate with the functional team for requirement gathering/understanding and to convert functional specifications to technical specifications

Required Technical Competencies

Customer Management:

  • Has clear understanding of customer business domain & technology suite.

  • Able to use the latest technology, build it into client engagement, handle customer escalations and pro-actively suggest solutions leading to additional business.

Projects Documentation:

  • Has In-depth understanding of documentation involved in Project likeFS etc.
  • Able to build into require project documentation and can do a Peer review for team members documents.

Domain and Industry Knowledge:

  • Has clear understanding of customer's business processes, relevant technology platform or product.
  • Able to prepare process maps, workflows, business cases and analyse current-state and define to-be processes in collaboration with SME & present recommendations with tangible benefits.
  • Able to apply industry standards and practices in implementation training/ guide the junior team members.
  • Create medium to complex business models in line with customer requirements independently.

Functional Design:

  • Working knowledge of Implementation & integration approaches and methods, cross functional processes, building blocks and high-level scope analysis and solution design processes.
  • Able to translate use case into state/ flow/ use case diagrams with appropriate tools, update existing design specifications and design a modular/ flexible design.
  • Coordinate and/or create process playbacks and prototype reviews with business owners and internal review team.
  • Identify key business drivers and translate into building blocks of solution and update existing design specifications if needed.
  • Design a modular and flexible design that meets the business requirements and Design data / volume of data for creating prototype.
  • Understand the overall integrity of solution and design behaviour of application/ business rules of application.
  • Able to provide inputs for design of technical components and configuration of packaged & custom applications in realizing business solutions.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Able to extract functional and non-functional requirements from business requirements and document a system/ software requirements specification for medium to complex scenarios.
  • Conduct structured interviews through questionnaires, phone, emails, face to face.
  • Able to analyse the impact of change requested/ enhancement/ defect fix and identify dependencies or interrelationships among requirements and transition requirements for the engagement.
  • Prototype / design a prototype of an example system that can be demonstrated to stakeholders.

Test Management:

  • Able to perform unit testing & perform comparison testing for rehosting, report testing status and create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required.
  • Execute automation test scripts/manual test cases as per test plan, record findings and DIT Test Cases against the baseline code provided.
  • Identify, report and document defects identified and perform defect fix/ deviations from expected results.
  • Create test cases, test scenarios and test data and perform Development Integration Testing.
