Overview: As a Senior Construction Administrator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful execution of construction projects by providing administrative support and coordination to project teams. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project documentation, managing contracts, coordinating meetings, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.

Document Control: You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining comprehensive document control systems to track project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders. This involves organizing, distributing, and archiving documents in accordance with project protocols and industry standards.

Contract Management: Managing contracts is a key aspect of the role. You will assist in reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions are clearly defined and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will track contract milestones, payments, and deliverables to mitigate risks and ensure contractual compliance.

Meeting Coordination: Facilitating project meetings is essential for effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders. You will coordinate and schedule regular progress meetings, prepare agendas, distribute meeting minutes, and follow up on action items to keep the project on track and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, regulations, and industry standards is paramount. You will assist in monitoring project activities to verify adherence to specifications, safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards. This includes conducting site inspections, reviewing reports, and addressing non-compliance issues proactively.

Communication and Reporting: Maintaining open and transparent communication is vital for project success. You will serve as a central point of contact for project inquiries, coordinating communications between internal and external stakeholders, and providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks. Generating comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management is also part of the role.

Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating project risks is a proactive measure to ensure project success. You will assist in identifying potential risks, assessing their impact and likelihood, and developing risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and cost overruns. This may involve reviewing insurance requirements, subcontractor qualifications, and project schedules to anticipate and address potential issues.


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in construction administration or project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in document management software and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, legal terminology, and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing project documentation and contracts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
