Sr. Chassis System Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design of Pneumatic Brake System Routing
• Design / solution identification as per requirement and align within cross functional department, also interaction with development partners.

Must Have:

• Sound knowledge in pneumatic brake system (brake system components selection, pneumatic circuits, air pressure requirements, vehicle aggregates relations with brake system, creation of tubes routing etc.)
• Good hand on experience in CATIA for 3D model preparation with CATIA module like part design SMD, GSD, assembly and drawings
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, pneumatic tubes etc.)
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, presentation skills and team player
• Knowledge of homologations standards related to brake system.
• Knowledge of product development cycle.
• Manage and coordinate activities with - cross functional team and suppliers for serialchanges and within projects.
• Can be able to do design documentation in PLM as well as to generate bill of material.
• Can be able work in CFT for support to project team.
• Flexibility for international travel (e.g., 3 months)

Good to have:

• Knowledge of working experience in PLM: wind chill or OAS
• VBA / CATIA macro / Programming
• Basic knowledge of brake testing parameters, design validation plan preparation of pneumatic brake system
• Basic knowledge of design quality process
• Good knowledge of GDT. should be able to dotolerance stack up.
