1. MSSQL Server
2. Azure SQL Server
3. Must have done certifications in SQL Server / Azure SQL
Good to Have:
Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners
1. DB2
2. Netezza
3. PowerShell
4. Azure PostgreSQL
Essential:
- Administer and maintain database systems, with a focus on MS SQL Server along with Azure, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
- Supporting SQL server in Azure environment as IAAS/SQL MI/PaaS services.
- Managing Azure SQL databases, SQL Managed Instances, Azure VM in Azure Portal.
- Monitor database performance and proactively address issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand database requirements and provide efficient solutions.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of database structures for different applications.
- Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
- Implement best practices to enhance database performance and security
- Manage databases on Azure Cloud, ensuring seamless integration and optimization for cloud-based solutions
- Utilize SQL Server tools and other relevant technologies for effective database administration
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in database tools and incorporate them into daily practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to achieve project goals and Provide guidance and support to team members on database-related issues.
Minimum Qualification:
15 years of full-time education
Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
