Job Description

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Business Development Manager in identifying new business opportunities and developing customer relationships.
  • Assist in prospecting and generating new leads for CDMO, CMO, and Regulatory Affairs services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Initiate contact with prospective clients through email, telephone, LinkedIn, and industry events.
  • Coordinate meetings, customer visits, and online presentations with prospective and existing clients.
  • Prepare customer profiles, meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, presentations, confidentiality agreements (NDA), and other business documents.
  • Coordinate internally with Technical, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to ensure timely responses to customer enquiries.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system, customer database, sales pipeline, and business opportunity tracker.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, pipeline updates, and business development performance reports.
  • Participate in local and international exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings as required.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through timely communication and professional service.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Business Development Manager or Management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn about the pharmaceutical CDMO and regulatory consulting business.
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for customer visits, exhibitions, and business meetings.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant educational background are encouraged to apply.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or other relevant disciplines.
  • 0-3years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, CRO, or healthcare industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, contract manufacturing (CDMO/CMO), or regulatory affairs will be an added advantage.
