Job Description - DGM - Tendering
MISSION:
Lead as Solution Architect to serve customer needs to build and defend attractive solution in compliance with SE rules and processes and in conjunction with Sales & Execution teams to achieve business objectives. Work closely with sales, procurement, and execution, validate customer requirement, Data , Drawing , Sizing etc for making efficient solution, ensure solutions profitability and review with project management , SME's and Sales team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: BE (Electrical)
- Job Related Experience: 10-15 years
Experience in Project solution implementation for Data center products including UPS , Cooling , BMS products/projects. Experience in Electrical & Automation bidding. Should have previous experience to network with stakeholders for seamless management of turnkey projects
- Business Understanding: Technical aspects of tenders, Risks and Opportunities management, Analytical skills, DC products , LV/ MV products & equipment's, MS Excel (MS Office), Knowledge of T&D market.
- Others: Customer focus, Team player, presentation Skills, Communication Skills, Result / deadline oriented, Ability to work under tight deadlines
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Build offer : Level- Full
- Understand the customer requirement for Data center.
- Understand Drawings , Floor layout , making SLD
- Competition Knowledge and analysis.
- Develop value proposition and strategy to win.
- Techno commercial discussion with various vendors.
- Technical Bid readiness within the time limit.
- Submit Technical Proposal and present to customer and other stakeholders.
- Engage into clarification process
- Closing a deal: Level- Full
- Listen to & resolve open concerns
- Perform win/loss analysis
- Transfer to Bid and Execution
- Risk Analysis: Level- Full
- Taking into account all the risk factors(technical/commercial/legal) while preparing and compiling the solution documents to avoid any future liabilities to the organization
- Vendor Negotiation: Level- Supportive
- Arrange back up technical quotations from OG/IG vendors, analysis of the quotation and technical negotiation with them to come out with a winning proposal.
- Technical Evaluation: Level- Full
- Comparison of all technical details mention in tender documents with the product available in the Schneider Product portfolio.
- Technical evaluation of the client requirement as per the tender specification, Drawing, BOM.
- Techno-commercial comparison of the product with-in the approved makes available in tender documents.
- Proposing client an optimal cost-effective solution as per the client requirements.
- Value Engineering to be done at the time of Bid preparation.
- Internal networks: Level- Full
- Develop internal support network
- Develop and manage relations with other BUs/ Back offices in SE
- Full : Fully responsible for the results of the work
Partial : Partially responsible for the results of the work
Supportive : Provide support to the person accountable for the results of the work.
