Position Summary

Purpose

This role provides a strong background in implementing and maintaining Workday SaaS applications. As a Workday Solution Analyst for our Financial Planning & Analytics applications, you will have a variety of responsibilities, including advising on our long-term roadmap to ensure scalable and innovative solutions, while partnering with the business to ensure their day-to-day needs are being met.

Duties & Responsibilities

Functions

Identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures

Support the Planning Lead in architecting Workday Planning solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.

Advise users on industry standardsand leading practices.

Demonstrate design options using prototyping.

Existing and up to date Adaptive Insights certification

Experience in Financial Management with a background in accounting, finance, consolidation, management reporting, planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or related field.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Manager II, Financial Solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Must be fluent in speaking and writing English.

Experience in implementing Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting systems like Adaptive Insights.

An understanding of Peoplesoft Financials.

SQL knowledge to read and write queries.

MS Office products experience.

DESIRED

More than 2 years of hands-on experience with delivering Adaptive Insights implementations.

Experience in multi-currency environment(s).

Understanding of any other programing language is a plus.

Working knowledge of integration through API is a plus.

Experience with integrations between FP&A tools and other finance applications, planning models and sheets, reporting methodologies, and dashboard management.

Experience in supporting FP&A teams through recurring planning operations and analyzing technical opportunities to improve processes.

Experience of having implemented, improved, and supported enterprise class financial systems - which includes planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, data migrations, system testing, cutover plan, and production support.

Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
