About the Role

We're looking for an Software Application Quality Assurance Engineer who can own test automation end-to-end across web and mobile, work comfortably in an enterprise product environment, and bring modern AI tooling into the testing workflow. You'll maintain scalable automation frameworks, dig into complex system issues, and help ship high-quality releases faster.

You'll report to the Engineering Manager, Quality Engineering depending on your skill set - Mobile or Web Browser based. The team is very efficient one having delivered over 200 releases and you will and work closely with the QA team across the release lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Integrate AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Claude and agent-based skills/workflows) into test design, test generation, debugging, and documentation.
• Maintain and extend automated test suites for web (Playwright) and mobile (Appium) applications.
• Write clean, maintainable automation code in TypeScript, Java, and Python.
• Test enterprise-grade features including workflow engines, dashboards, and dynamic form creation, ensuring correctness across complex user journeys and configurations.
• Investigate failures across the stack — application, API, and data layers — to isolate root causes and drive them to resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and reporting for automated tests.

Required Skills

Technical

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Java.
• Proven experience building automation with Appium (mobile) and Playwright (web).
• Solid understanding of test design patterns, framework architecture, and maintainable test code.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and test tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Comfort debugging across the stack: application, API, and data.
• Experience of testing Vue.Js application.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to API testing and accessibility testing (WCAG, TalkBack/VoiceOver).
• Experience in the airline or emergency response system.
• Ability to reason about complex, configurable enterprise products end-to-end.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM-based tools into engineering or QA workflows.
