Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic QA professional for Manual & Automation testing to join our Engineering team. You will be integral in working with the Developers, Customers, and other team members. The ideal candidate must blend their technical skills to develop software automation and run manual tests for scalable applications in a multi-cloud platform.

Location: Trivandrum

Responsibilities:

· Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans in alignment with project requirements.

· Hands-on experience in writing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

· Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet project deadlines.

· Learn Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using designated tools or platforms.

· Perform thorough regression testing after bug resolution to ensure software stability.

· Liaise with internal teams, including developers and project managers, to understand and document system requirements.

· Monitor and report on the progress of debugging processes to ensure timely issue resolution.

· Demonstrate strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

· Hands-on experience in Black Box testing techniques

· Sound understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Skills & Qualification Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (BE/B-Tech, BCA, MCA, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced testing environment.
• Experience in Automation Testing using Selenium.
• Knowledge in Penetration Testing and Load Testing (using tools such as Burp Suite, JMeter).
• Proficiency in MySQL and scripting languages.
• Knowledge and Awareness of latest AI tools is preferred.
• ISTQB Certification will be a plus.
