Software Technologist I - Test Automation
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology OR Vocational Education in Information Technology or equivalent.
Your role:
- Participates in full software development processes, working with broader autonomy and in pairing mode with other software team members, challenging requirements, design, and quality, focusing on test creation and automation.
- Specializes in testing the integration between various components of a system, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility across different modules to deliver a cohesive and robust software solution.
- Serves as a recognized technical expert in specific areas within the team, leading the automated testing activities and providing guidance on best practices.
- Develops detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications, execute these tests, and meticulously document the results to ensure thorough coverage and accuracy.
- Develops and executes comprehensive test plans, including component, integration, and system tests, to ensure software reliability, performance, and adherence to specifications.
- Conducts thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify potential bugs, and promote best practices in software development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality code.
- Supports DevOps in deploying software, setting, monitoring, and ensuring own performance metrics are met, while also defining, monitoring, and meeting broader performance and quality metrics.
- Applies analytical skills to resolve medium complexity requests efficiently, exercising judgment within defined procedures/practices to determine appropriate action.
- Works closely with software developers and other stakeholders to understand the software design, functionality, and requirements, ensuring effective test planning and execution.
- Establishes, configures, and manages testing environments meticulously to ensure they replicate production settings, facilitating accurate and reliable testing outcomes that mirror real-world scenarios.
- Executes a comprehensive range of both manual and automated test cases with precision, ensuring all test activities are conducted accurately and efficiently while meticulously documenting results for thorough analysis and reporting.
- Conducts root cause analysis on identified defects to discern underlying issues effectively, collaborating closely with development teams to implement corrective actions promptly and prevent recurrence, thereby enhancing overall software quality and stability.
- Evaluates and refines testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement within the testing team.
- u2022 Keeps abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development and testing to continuously improve skill sets and apply innovative solutions.
Minimum required Experience:
Test Experience:u00A0u00A05+ years in software quality assurance (automated testing) in functional, regression, integration tests using NUnit / MSTest with C# programming and .NET debugging.u00A0Proficiency in locating UI elements using built-in IDs and custom XPaths is required.
- Test Automation Tools & Frameworks:u00A0Experience with Playwright with BDD frameworks like SpecFlow / Reqnroll. Familiarity with Selenium is a plus.
- CI/CD Integration:u00A0Experience in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines usingu00A0Azure DevOpsu00A0oru00A0GitHub Actions.
- Docker & Kubernetes:u00A0Understanding of deployment configurations using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good to have:
- API Testing: Experience with Postman is beneficial
- Cloud-Based Testing & Deployment: Exposure to AWS is a plus.
- Performance Testing: Basic understanding of performance testing tools like k6, JMeter.
- Test Case Design and Documentation:u00A0Proven ability to create test cases from requirements/user stories for complex (clinical) workflows

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companyu2019s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companyu2019s main facilities, generally at the customersu2019 or suppliersu2019 locations.
