About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in B2B software sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand customer pain points and propose the right technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, social outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Manage the full sales cyclefrom lead generation to closing deals.
- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers in target companies (CXOs, IT Heads, Product Leads).
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Client Engagement & Solutioning
- Understand client requirements, challenges, and workflows to recommend appropriate software solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and RFP responses.
Account Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients with support teams.
- Maintain long-term customer relationships and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 24 years of experience in B2B software/SaaS sales.
- Strong understanding of software products, cloud solutions, or enterprise technology.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
Good to Have
- Exposure to IT services, SaaS platforms, or automation solutions.
- Understanding of the Bangalore tech ecosystem and competitive landscape.
- Ability to work independently with high ownership.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage (not mandatory).
