About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in B2B software sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand customer pain points and propose the right technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, social outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Manage the full sales cyclefrom lead generation to closing deals.
  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers in target companies (CXOs, IT Heads, Product Leads).
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Client Engagement & Solutioning

  • Understand client requirements, challenges, and workflows to recommend appropriate software solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and RFP responses.

Account Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients with support teams.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 24 years of experience in B2B software/SaaS sales.
  • Strong understanding of software products, cloud solutions, or enterprise technology.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).

Good to Have

  • Exposure to IT services, SaaS platforms, or automation solutions.
  • Understanding of the Bangalore tech ecosystem and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to work independently with high ownership.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA is an added advantage (not mandatory).
