Job Description Troubleshooting, assisting internal/lab clients with issues related to different vendor CCAP/CMTS, RPHY operation. Troubleshooting RF cable termination issues, RF power level alignment on existing RF structure. Troubleshooting CPE/Cable modem provisioning process (DHCP, TFTP, configuration file), verify RF power. On request configuration changes on different vendor CMTS, RPHY, CCAP/CMTS equipment. Support of operational teams in troubleshooting the network (CMTS, Access, and IP backbone). Knowledge in CMTS and DOCSIS area, configuration of different vendor CMTS, DAA, RPHY, CCAP/CMTS equipment. Knowledge of DAA, R-PHY, CCAPs, and DOCSIS modulation technologies. Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology, MPLS and routing protocols OSPF, BGP, ISIS. Knowledge of RF/coaxial and fiber optic technologies.
Job Description - Grade Specific Asterisk: Maintain open-source free PBX Asterisk. Troubleshooting SIP calls, SIP trunk connections. Troubleshooting network connectivity. Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and VoIP security Knowledge of Linux OS.
