Key objectives of this Role:
- Experience leading large design & architecture of automotive embedded products is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in different products (Cluster, Display, ADAS).
- Knowledgeable in large project management and delivery.
- Work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Communication with rationale and build consensus with stakeholders.
- Prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop new approaches to complex design problems.
- High level of domain expertise.
- Lead overall project delivery and coordination across projects / multiple internal teams.
- Leverage project management skills and understanding of multiple domains/technology to balance projects with varying schedules and priorities.
- Sustain and lead efforts in High Level Design (HLD) through complete ownership and commitment to quality standards. Act as the single point of contact for all aspects relating to HLD.
- Understand and review business requirements with the software delivery team, leveraging their knowledge of multiple domains.
- Work on assigning the requirements between different tech teams internally, identifying the interfaces and dependencies. Work to ensure there is a clear channel of communication between teams to meet deliveries.
- Work with the architects to define project-specific architectures. Understand and contribute to the technical solution from design through to code level. Analyze technical issues and guide the teams to find solutions.
- Lead project-focused technical discussions between the domains and internal teams. Work with the integration and testing teams on triaging of defects with accurate assignment of defects and analysis of complex defects that would overlap multiple domains.
- Work with external vendors/suppliers on tools and other software. Support supplier quality and assessments with other internal teams.
Key Performance Indicators:
- On-Time Delivery: Achieve 85% or higher on-time delivery of customer milestones. Tracked on a sprint level.
- Code Coverage Metric: Percentage of Code Covered by Testing, Maintain code coverage at 85% or higher. Regularly monitored during each development cycle.
- Static Analysis KPI assessed at the end of each development iteration.
- Global Team Collaboration: Frequency and Effectiveness of Collaboration with Global Teams
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computer engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering or mechatronics or equivalent.
- 10+ years of software experience.
