Skills:
- Possess 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development in building services and applications in AWS cloud platform.
- Developer with hands on experience with native AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Cloud Watch, API Gateway, Cloud Formation templates, ECS/EKS, AWS Batch.
- Familiar with high volume transactional systems, microservice design, continuous delivery, automated deployments, and related engineering practices.
- Java programmer/Python, preferably in developing web services using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Flask etc. with strong experience in RDBMS, SQL tuning and high-volume data processing.
- Experience in developing RESTful Web Services in cloud and on-premises platforms. Knowledge of building scalable web systems with microservice architecture is highly desired.
- Working experience with DevOps Tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Spinnaker and Concourse.
- Experience in monitoring observability tools such as Data Dog, Splunk.
- Hands-on experience in managing AWS RDS instances of Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience in delivering automated solutions that improve platform health, security, cost-efficiency, visibility and alerting and monitoring.
- Effectively communicate with others in a courteous, thoughtful and professional manner and demonstrate multi-tasking ability for orchestrating multiple activities at a time.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
