We are looking for a Junior Backend Software Engineer who has a strong technical foundation and can independently deliver robust features under tight timelines. You'll be working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment that emphasizes performance and product impact.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure backend services.
- Take ownership of individual features across the full development lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver features.
- Work within aggressive timelines without compromising code quality.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in backend development using Ruby on Rails, Java, or Python.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and database technologies (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience working with Kafka and RabbitMQ, Docker, Microsoft Azure, and GraphQL.
- Prior experience with LLMs and OpenAI API integrations is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with shifting priorities.
