Job Description

As a part of the Enterprise IT team, your primary duties will revolve around the implementation and maintenance of our Corporate Applications environment, which includes Oracle Financials.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Finance business process owners and relevant Finance stakeholders to interpret business requirements into technology solutions pertaining to Billing, Revenue, and Payment Applications.
  • Support and optimize the Core Finance platform, encompassing Billing, Revenue, and Accounting applications.
  • Conduct requirement gathering, design, development, implementation, and support to fulfill the Businesss needs.
  • Define and meet Service Level Agreements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with operations, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with Yahoo standards.
  • Analyze and design both short and long-term solutions for Yahoo Billing, Revenue, and Finance systems.
  • Plan and execute various test cycles, including integration testing and system testing.
  • Deliver product demonstrations to Business stakeholders and facilitate User acceptance testing.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate workshops to guide discussions and decisions for developing business applications.
  • Provide Production support for month-end close activities.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional product teams and Engineering teams to translate the business solution into technical designs.
  • Develop and manage documentation related to the creation of desktop manuals, test scenarios, test conditions, and test scripts .

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Around 5 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in finance systems analysis, solution design, and deployment using Oracle applications or other major ERP systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Financials modules, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, EBTax, SLA, and SCM modules such as iProcurement, Purchasing, and Inventory.
  • Proven track record in projects implementation, rollouts, and upgrades within Oracle Financials.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall management methodologies for project management.
  • Strong consulting background with the ability to influence stakeholders in both business and IT.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and SQL Developer for basic troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience collaborating with large, globally distributed teams across various time zones.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a passion for learning new skills.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in simple, user-friendly language to both end-users and senior management.
  • Capacity to make independent judgments in prioritizing tasks and initiatives, while keeping management informed of progress and resolutions.
  • Responsive to customer needs and driven to enhance organizational processes.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing credibility at all organizational levels.
  • Preferred qualifications include a CA/MBA in Finance or a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience as a business analyst supporting business users.
