We are looking out for a Social Media Specialist for our Calicut office. Candidate should possess strong creative skills in managing and growing Wattlecorp's social media presence across multiple platforms. A creative approach is what this role demands combined with an excellent hands-on experience in establishing strong engagement by developing and executing content strategies that strengthen our brand voice and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative social media content plans that go in accordance with brand and business goals.
- Write compelling copy, design engaging visuals, and use creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or AI tools like Perplexity/ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude) to deliver fresh and engaging content.
- Plan and schedule posts across platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Community Management
- Establish a meaningful engagement with followers by promptly responding to their comments, messages, and mentions.
- Establish a loyal community across the brand by fostering positive and interactive communication.
Cross-Platform Presence Management
- Build and manage brand presence across media:This should consider crafting engaging content for podcasts, webinars, forums (e.g., Reddit, Quora), and other digital communities for wider reach and authority.
Campaign Management
- Plan, design, and run paid social campaigns to drive awareness, leads, and sales.
- Experiment with ad creatives and copy by performing A/B tests and targeting to optimize results.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Closely monitor KPIs (reach, engagement, clicks, conversions) through expert utilization of tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and platform insights.
- Measure campaign performance through data analysis and appropriate metrics like SMART goals for enhancing marketing strategy.
Trend Monitoring & Innovation
Keep a close eye on emerging trends, creative formats, and best practices Bring fresh, innovative ideas that resonate with audiences and strengthen brand identity.

- Creativity:Demonstrate exceptional creativity in developing unique content and developing innovative campaigns with a proactive approach to community building.
- Technical Tools:Can effectively handle social media management tools like Buffer and Hootsuite. Should also utilize design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva), and other relevant analytics platforms.
- Analytical Skills:Display a strong ability to read data, identify insights, and act on them.
- Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Platform Expertise:Has a profound understanding of platform algorithms for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Experience & Qualifications
- A 2+ years of proven experience in managing social media growth for brands and agencies.
- Excellent portfolio showcasing strategic expertise in conducting social media campaigns, content creation, and design.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is highly preferred. Portfolio substitute may be considered.
