Position: Social Media Marketing Intern (On-site, India)
About The Opportunity
Join a commercially-driven marketing team that crafts social-first campaigns to drive platform adoption and brand awareness. You will work on content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking across short-form and long-form social channelsgaining hands-on experience with real campaign KPIs and amplification tactics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and publish platform-appropriate social content (static posts, carousels, short-form video) aligned to content calendars.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement: respond to comments, DMs, and cultivate audience interactions to improve retention and sentiment.)
- Execute content scheduling and publishing using Meta Business Suite and content planning tools to ensure timely delivery.
- Support short-form video ideation and basic editing for Reels and TikTok to boost reach and shareability.
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR) and compile concise weekly reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with design, growth, and product teams to align social activity with campaign goals and product launches.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Portfolio or links to social posts, campaigns, or sample content.
- Practical experience with Canva or equivalent visual content tools.
- Familiarity using Meta Business Suite for scheduling and basic analytics.
- Basic understanding of social metrics and tracking using Google Analytics or native platform insights.
- Comfortable creating short-form video content (smartphone filming and in-app editing).
- Ability to work on-site in India and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Premiere Rush for enhanced creative edits.
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Previous internship or freelance work on brand-building or performance-driven social campaigns.
