About the Role
As a Social Media Marketer at Passionfruit, you'll be responsible for building and growing our presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok, and other relevant platforms. You'll manage company and founder-led social channels while turning ideas, people, and everyday moments into engaging content. From brainstorming and scripting to shooting, editing, and publishing, you'll own the entire content journey.
We're looking for someone who is creative, internet-savvy, and comfortable bringing ideas to life independently.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage Passionfruit's social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok, and other relevant platforms.
- Build and execute content strategies for the company and founder-led social channels.
- Create engaging, platform-native content, including posts, carousels, short-form videos, reels, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Identify interesting stories, ideas, people, and moments within the company and turn them into compelling social content.
- Plan, shoot, edit, and publish content independently; from idea to final post.
- Create employee-generated content and collaborate with team members to bring authentic workplace stories to life.
- Work on website content, including updates, announcements, brand stories, and other relevant pages.
- Stay updated with social media trends, formats, creator content, and internet culture—and identify what is worth experimenting with.
- Build and maintain a consistent content calendar while leaving room for timely and reactive content.
- Track content performance, identify what is working, and continuously improve content based on insights.
- Experiment with new formats, creative concepts, and distribution strategies to grow reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Ensure all content reflects Passionfruit's voice, culture, and personality.
You'd Be a Great Fit If You Have
- Minimum 1 year of experience in social media, content marketing, creator marketing, or a related role.
- Recent graduates with relevant hands-on experience, internships, freelance work, or prior experience at a company.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video content.
- Experience managing brand, founder, or personal social media accounts is a strong advantage.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Basic to strong video shooting and editing skills.
- Experience creating social-first content, including reels, short videos, carousels, and employee-generated content.
- Ability to independently manage the complete content lifecycle; from ideation and creation to publishing and analysis.
- A strong portfolio or examples of social content you've created will be preferred.
