Job Description Social Media Manager

We are seeking a Social Media Manager who is passionate about storytelling, trend-spotting, and community building. This role is ideal for someone who can strategize, create, and execute social media campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and measurable results.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Create and implement social media strategies aligned with clients business goals and brand positioning.

  • Plan monthly content calendars and campaign roadmaps.

Content Management:

  • Oversee content creation (design, copy, video) with creative and design teams.

  • Write compelling captions, hashtags, and campaign copy tailored to platforms.

Community Building & Engagement:

  • Manage all client social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms.

  • Respond to messages, comments, and engage with audiences to build strong communities.

Campaign Management:

  • Run paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads with a focus on ROI.

  • Collaborate with influencers and manage influencer marketing campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track performance using analytics tools and create monthly reports with actionable insights.

  • Suggest improvements based on data-driven decisions.

Trend Research:

  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies.
  • Proactively recommend innovative ideas to keep client brands ahead.

Requirements

  • Experience: 13 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.

  • Strong understanding of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels.

  • Proven track record of growing social media presence and running paid campaigns.

  • Knowledge of social media tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.

  • Ability to analyze metrics and create detailed performance reports.

  • Strong communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills.

  • Creativity with an eye for design and brand aesthetics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Certification in Digital Marketing or Social Media Strategy (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite will be an added advantage.
