42° Degrees Summit - Bangalore & Udaipur

About the Role

Role: Social Media and Video Editing Intern

You will start in Bangalore alongside the full intern team, building the creative and content engine for the 42° Summit. From August 10, you will be deployed to Udaipur for the live event window: capturing the summit on the ground, managing real-time social publishing for all attending leaders, and supporting on-site operations. After the event, you will return to Bangalore for the post-wrap and earned media phase.

This is not a specialist role. You need to be able to write copy, produce design assets in Canva, shoot and edit reels, and coordinate logistics, sometimes all in the same day.

Note: Please include a link to your portfolio or recent reel work in your resume.

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 3 Months

What You Will Do

Pre-Event (Bangalore, July 6 to Aug 9)

  • Work alongside the full intern team on design production: quote cards, speaker cards, carousel frames, reel overlays, and countdown assets, all built to the 42° brand system
  • Draft social copy across accounts as directed, supporting the content calendar
  • Assist with speaker asset collection: bios, headshots, and share pack assembly
  • Learn the brand guidelines, approval workflow, and the voice of each principal account inside out
  • Support scheduling and publishing as needed during peak phases

On-Site (Udaipur, Aug 10-15)

  • Shoot photo and video across all three days: arrivals, sessions, atmosphere, polo evening, gala, and closing ceremony
  • Produce same-day recap reels on-site and hand-finished files to the Bangalore publishing desk
  • Post real-time Instagram Stories with light approval to capture live atmosphere
  • Draft and schedule posts for all attending leaders, coordinating approvals with each principal before anything goes live
  • Log all assets in the Asset Tracker and maintain the handoff pipeline to Bangalore
  • Support the event management team on ground ops: delegate coordination, logistics, and anything that keeps the event running smoothly
  • Be a calm, reliable presence for the principals: flag anything that needs attention and move approvals quickly so nothing gets held up

Post-Event (Bangalore)

  • Support the Social Media Editor on post-wrap publishing, highlight reel coordination, and Insights Report launch assets
  • Assist with earned media phase content through September 3

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong Canva proficiency: you can produce brand-consistent creative assets, not just edit existing templates
  • Comfortable shooting on a smartphone or DSLR and cutting a clean 60-90 second reel same-day on CapCut or equivalent
  • Prior experience managing social accounts for a brand, founder, or institution (not just personal accounts)
  • Strong written English with an ability to write in someone else's voice
  • High trust and discretion: you will be around closed-door conversations and senior leaders on-site
  • Physically present, proactive, and unflappable under live-event pressure
  • Willingness to travel to Udaipur for the live event window (accommodation provided)

Nice to Have

  • Experience at premium conferences or leadership events
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn creator tools and X/Twitter analytics
  • Prior exposure to B2B or institutional social content
