Social Content Creator — Job Description
Company: Digit Insurance
Experience Required: 2–3 years
Function: Marketing / Brand & Social Media
About The Role
At Digit, we believe in making the complicated feel simple, and the ordinary feel a little delightful. We're looking for a Social Content Creator who can do exactly that with social media. Someone who has ideas, can pick up a camera, shoot it, edit it, and get it out into the world, on time and on brand.
You're the one who makes it happen, start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit video and photo content, from quick reels to polished campaign pieces, with your own hands
- Write captions and copy that sound like a person, not a brand deck
- Keep a pulse on trends and platform shifts, and know which ones are actually worth chasing
- Track what's working and quietly kill what isn't
- Ensure everything you make sounds and looks like Digit, especially given the compliance realities of insurance
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in social media content creation, with a brand, D2C company, or agency
- Real, hands-on shooting and editing skills (mobile/DSLR, Premiere Pro/CapCut or similar)
- A working understanding of platforms, formats, and what actually drives engagement
- An eye for storytelling and pacing that makes people stop scrolling
- Strong written communication
The Must-Have Trick
Good magic rarely happens solo. You'll need to work closely with brand, design, product, and compliance teams, take feedback well, and turn it around fast, all without losing the plot on deadlines. If you can make collaboration look effortless while still owning your craft, that's exactly the kind of practical magician we want.
Good to Have
- Experience creating content in a regulated industry (BFSI, insurance, fintech)
- Comfort with Canva/Photoshop for quick creative assets
- A genuine feel for internet culture and what Gen Z/millennial audiences actually engage with
