We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to implement best practices and automate processes for a seamless deployment experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Develop automation tools and scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices across systems and applications.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Conduct post-mortems and implement improvements to reduce future incidents.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
