Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Marine Engineer to oversee and manage marine engineering activities on-site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring technical compliance, quality standards, and timely execution of marine works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all marine construction activities, ensuring adherence to design, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on technical issues and project progress.
- Review and approve marine-related method statements and shop drawings.
- Monitor site progress and prepare regular reports.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve site issues promptly.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of total experience in engineering and construction.
- At least 5 years of specific experience in a Site Marine Engineer or equivalent role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in large-scale marine infrastructure or port development projects.
- Strong understanding of international marine construction standards.
- Familiarity with marine geotechnical investigations and hydrodynamic assessments.
