We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Site In charge / Engineer In Charge (EIC) to oversee and manage building construction activities for a reputed real estate/construction project in Kolkata.

Job Overview
The Site In charge / EIC will be responsible for the overall execution, coordination, supervision, and quality delivery of construction projects while ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, timelines, safety standards, and project objectives.
Roles Responsibilities
Take complete responsibility for site execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and company standards
Conduct site readiness checks before execution and ensure availability of required permits, approvals, manpower, materials, and resources
Plan, organize, and supervise daily construction activities at site
Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently to maintain productivity and timelines
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and site engineers for smooth project execution
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of work as per schedule
Ensure proper delivery, storage, and handling of construction materials to minimize wastage and damage
Verify that all materials used at site meet approved quality standards and specifications
Maintain strict quality control through inspections, testing, and execution monitoring
Identify site issues, defects, or deviations and implement corrective actions promptly
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at the construction site
Conduct regular site inspections and maintain safe working conditions for labor and staff
Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, and execution updates
Coordinate with management regarding project status, delays, and technical challenges
Resolve technical and operational issues arising during project execution
Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders involved in the project
Required Skills

Good understanding of drawings, estimation, and construction processes

Candidates from Real Estate / Building Construction background will be preferred
