Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing civil works and ensuring that projects are executed according to design, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Daily responsibilities include supervising construction activities, coordinating with architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors, and verifying that civil engineering designs are accurately implemented on site. The role involves preparing and reviewing site plans, monitoring material usage, tracking progress against schedules, and addressing technical issues as they arise. The Site Civil Engineer will conduct site inspections, maintain documentation, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support stormwater and drainage solutions as required. This position also contributes to project planning, resource management, and resolution of onsite challenges to keep projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and implement structural and site drawings.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction sites, overseeing execution, supervision, and quality control of civil works.
- Proficiency in Planning related to site activities, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and site grading to support sustainable and compliant project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with relevant professional experience in building or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and standard construction practices in India.
- Ability to read and use construction drawings, specifications, and basic design software (e.g., AutoCAD) for site coordination.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks on site.
