Shopify Full Stack Developer

About the Role

This position requires a full-stack Shopify Developer who can contribute to theme development, custom app creation, backend automation, third-party integrations, and store optimization. You will collaborate closely with marketing, UI, and operations teams to deliver scalable, high-performance ecommerce solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (private/public/custom)

Build Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Build and manage Node.js services for automation and data sync

Integrate third-party platforms payment, CRM, logistics, checkout, marketing tools

Work with Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs

Create and manage webhooks, middleware, and API endpoints

Work with Admin API, Storefront API, and App Proxy

Troubleshoot app issues and optimize performance

Create and manage Shopify metafields and JSON templates

Participate in code reviews and follow Git workflows

Collaborate with UI, marketing, and ops teams to build scalable ecommerce features

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Shopify development

Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, Shopify theme architecture, and metafields

Experience in Shopify App Development (mandatory)

Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript (ES6+)

Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and OAuth

Experience with Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL

Experience integrating third-party platforms and custom APIs

Proficiency in Git version control

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

Experience with automation services & workflow orchestration

Knowledge of performance optimization for Shopify storefronts

Understanding of Shopify Plus ecosystem and advanced features

Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
