Position: Service Engineer
Location: Delhi, NCR
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer with expertise in calibration, instrumentation, and quality inspection. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of various electro-technical, thermal, and mechanical pressure instruments across multiple industries, including manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite and lab calibration of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, pressure switches, conductivity meters, and pH meters.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and rectify measurement errors in instruments and equipment.
- Maintain and update quality check documents, including intermediate checks, replicate checks, and recalibration records.
- Execute loop calibrations for HMI, indicators, and sensors.
- Analyze test data using mathematical formulas and recommend modifications.
- Work with a variety of instrumentation brands like Wika, Baumer, Forbes Marshall, and Testo.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers onsite.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- 1.5+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or quality inspection.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage calibration and testing equipment.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in handling various calibration tools and software.
- Ability to work onsite at manufacturing and pharmaceutical facilities.
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Willingness to travel for onsite calibrations and inspections.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Caterpillar, Sun Pharma, Piramal, and similar companies.
- Familiarity with multimeters, pressure transmitters, and thermal instruments.
- Knowledge of systematic calibration procedures and compliance standards.
