Job Summary:
We're looking for a hands-on Senior SEO Content Writer and Strategist who is passionate about creating industry-leading content—not just managing writers.
This role is primarily focused on writing high-quality content while also contributing to content strategy, topical authority, and AI discoverability. You will be responsible for creating content that ranks on Google, gets cited by AI search engines, earns backlinks, and establishes VeeFly as an authority in the YouTube growth space. You will own the complete content lifecycle from deep research and strategy to publishing and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on High-Impact Writing: Personally write high-quality, research-backed long-form blogs, landing pages, guides, and authoritative brand content that is genuinely useful and people-first.
- Advanced SEO & AI Optimization: Create content optimized not just for traditional SEO, but also for GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to maximize AI recommendations and search visibility.
- Topical Authority & Ranking: Develop comprehensive content clusters capable of ranking in Google's Top 3 for highly competitive industry keywords.
- Digital PR & Outreach: Write authoritative guest posts, Digital PR articles, and outreach content designed to earn citations, backlinks, and publication on high-authority websites.
- Lifecycle Management & Collaboration: Plan and execute overall content strategies while collaborating closely with the internal SEO, marketing, and outreach teams to maximize organic growth.
Who You Are:
- The Mindset: A strategic thinker who loves the actual craft of writing. You understand how to build deep topical authority and craft content that ranks well while serving human readers.
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in SEO and brand content writing, backed by a track record of successfully ranking content on Google.
- Advanced Knowledge: Strong, practical understanding of search intent, E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness), keyword clustering, GEO, and AEO.
- Skills: Exceptional writing, heavy data-driven research, and meticulous editing skills. The ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously without compromising quality is critical.
- Bonus Points: Prior experience handling Digital PR, guest posting frameworks, and link-earning outreach content.
