About the Role
Delhi Public School, Dwarka Expressway is seeking a creative, research-driven, and SEO-focused Content & Copy Writer who can build the school's digital presence through compelling storytelling and high-performing content. The ideal candidate will combine strong writing skills with SEO expertise to improve organic visibility, drive website traffic, and create meaningful engagement with parents, students, and the wider education community.
This role requires someone who understands both search engine optimization and persuasive copywriting while maintaining the premium voice and values of the school.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Content Strategy
Develop and execute an SEO content strategy aligned with admissions and brand objectives.
Perform keyword research using SEO tools to identify high-impact opportunities.
Create topic clusters and content calendars based on search trends and user intent.
Monitor search rankings and continuously optimize content performance.
Website Content
Write and optimize:
Landing pages
Admission pages
Programme pages
Curriculum pages
Faculty profiles
Event pages
Student achievement stories
Ensure all website content follows SEO best practices while maintaining readability.
Blog & Thought Leadership
Produce high-quality blogs on:
Parenting
Education
Child development
Future-ready learning
Cambridge & CBSE education
School life
Educational trends
Research industry trends and convert insights into engaging articles.
Marketing Copywriting
Create persuasive copy for:
Meta Ads
Google Ads
Website banners
Landing pages
Email campaigns
WhatsApp campaigns
Brochures
Flyers
Admission campaigns
Event promotions
Video scripts
Instagram captions
LinkedIn content
SEO Optimization
Optimize meta titles and descriptions.
Improve internal linking.
Write SEO-friendly URLs.
Optimize headings (H1-H6).
Implement schema recommendations where applicable.
Improve content readability and keyword placement.
Performance Analysis
Track content performance using:
Google Analytics
Google Search Console
SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc.)
Generate monthly SEO performance reports.
Recommend improvements based on analytics.
Collaboration
Work closely with:
Marketing Team
Design Team
Admissions Team
Academic Leadership
Videographers & Social Media Team
to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

2–5 years of experience in SEO content writing, digital marketing, or copywriting.
Experience in the education, EdTech, or school sector is preferred.
Portfolio demonstrating SEO blogs, landing pages, website copy, and campaign content.
