The Role
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging video content. In this role, you will be responsible for taking projects from conception to final delivery, ensuring the highest quality and alignment with our creative vision. You will work on a variety of content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos for various platforms (YouTube, social media, website, etc.).
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop concepts and storyboards.
- Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and basic animation to enhance videos.
- Color correct and grade footage to achieve a consistent and professional look.
- Mix and edit audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and music.
- Create and design graphic elements, lower thirds, and titles for videos.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain and organize a library of video and project assets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 yearsof professional video editing experience.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Prois a non-negotiable requirement.
- Working knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
- Adobe After Effectsfor motion graphics and basic compositing.
- Adobe Photoshopfor image editing, creating graphics, and preparing assets.
- Adobe Illustratorfor creating and manipulating vector-based graphics for video.
- A strong demo reel or portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
- Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and color theory.
- Experience with audio editing and sound design principles.
- Ability to take and implement feedback constructively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with 3D animation or modeling (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Experience with video production, including shooting and lighting.
