Role Overview: We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who understands storytelling beyond cuts and transitions. Someone who can shape narratives through visuals, pacing, sound, and rhythm, ensuring every video feels intentional, impactful, and on brand.
This role goes beyond basic editing. You'll be responsible for owning video quality end-to-end, from interpreting creative ideas to final output, across social platforms, campaigns, and brand ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Video & Creative Ownership
- Own the visual tone and storytelling style across brands and platforms
- Edit, refine, and elevate video content across formats: reels, short-form videos, campaign films, interviews, brand
stories, etc.
- Ensure consistency in pacing, mood, visual language, and brand alignment
Concepting & Visual Storytelling
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and social teams to shape video narratives
- Translate concepts and scripts into compelling visual stories
- Add depth, clarity, and cultural relevance through editing choices, transitions, music, and structure
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
- Guide and mentor junior video editors
- Review edits and give constructive feedback to improve output quality
- Act as a quality checkpoint before videos go live
Brand & Cultural Sensitivity
- Understand brand ethos, especially in alcohol-beverage, hospitality, real estate & culture-driven spaces
- Ensure videos feel contemporary, premium, and culturally aware
- Stay updated on video trends, formats, platform algorithms, and storytelling styles
Workflow & Ownership
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality
- Work closely with the brand solutions team, creatives, and account teams to meet timelines
- Take accountability for final video outputs across platforms
What We're Looking For
- Strong visual storytelling and editing instincts
- Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and narrative flow
- Ability to adapt editing style across different brands and audiences
- Experience working on digital-first and social-first video content
- High attention to detail with a creative mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience editing for F&B, hospitality, real estate & culture brands
- Motion graphics, basic animation, or typography skills
- Experience with sound design, music selection, and colour grading
- A strong showreel/portfolio showcasing varied video work
