Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for leading the editing and post-production process to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand vision and achieves project objectives. You will work across a wide range of formats, including promotional videos, social media content, advertisements, and long-form storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end editing and post-production process for high-quality video projects.
- Conceptualize creative approaches to video storytelling in collaboration with the creative and production teams.
- Oversee advanced editing tasks including color grading, sound mixing, VFX integration, and motion graphics (where required).
- Provide creative direction, feedback, and quality control for junior editors.
- Ensure consistent visual style, pacing, and storytelling quality across all video outputs.
- Manage multiple deadlines, prioritise tasks effectively, and communicate progress with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and optimise workflows to improve speed, quality, and efficiency in the video production pipeline.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in video editing or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Knowledge of motion graphics tools (Adobe After Effects or equivalent) is a strong plus.
- In-depth understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative editing.
- Strong knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video compression formats.
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
