The Data Analytics Reporting and Transformation (DART)organization has grown rapidly and today it represents a highly motivated and engaged team of skilled professionals with expertise in financial industry practices, reporting, analytics, and regulation. The team works closely with various groups across BNY Mellon to support the firm's Capital Adequacy, Counterparty Credit as well as Enterprise Risk modelling and data analytics alongside support for the annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Stress Test.

The resources within DART are working towards supporting other innovative, data-driven solutions for the wider firm as a part of their strategic objectives for 2024 and into the future.The Counterparty Risk Data Analytics team within DART designs and develops data-driven solutions aimed at strengthening the control framework around our risk metrics and reporting.

For the Counterparty Risk Data Analytics team,we are looking for a Senior VP who will lead the team and lead strategic data-driven initiatives to support Counterparty Credit Risk Management

Title in the contract: Senior Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis Manager. This role is in Wroclaw (HYBRID).

Responsibilities :

  1. Lead global team of risk and data analytics professionals across the US, Poland, and India.
  2. Develop end-to-end understanding of all of the team's current reporting and analytic workflows and analyses
  3. Drive the build-out of analytical tools to produce attribution analysis across metrics such as PFE, Stress-Testing, Sensitivities, etc.
  4. Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the Risk organization as well as on the 1LoD
  5. Present in senior forums and to external regulators
  6. Drive data-driven initiatives during regulatory and Audit exams
  7. Produce governance documents such as policies, procedures, and standards
  8. Drive regulatory remediation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline required (Master's degree preferred)
  • 8 years of experience in a related field
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk metrics such as Potential Future Exposure (PFE) for repo-style transactions and derivatives, EAD, RWA, etc.
  • Knowledge of sensitivities and greeks across multiple asset classes
  • Knowledge of statistical and econometric concepts (ARIMA, EWMA, GARCHetc.)
  • Experience with regulatory exams and remediations
  • Experience building financial risk analytics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
