Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Yellow Slice is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead end-to-end product design for high-scale

digital platforms across lending, payments, insurance, and financial services ecosystems. This role

requires a strong balance of UX strategy, visual design excellence, and product thinking, with the

ability to work independently while collaborating across business, technology, and compliance teams.

You will play a key role in shaping intuitive, secure, and scalable customer experiences across web and mobile platforms, contributing to digital-first growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end UX and UI design for complex financial products across web and mobile platforms

- Translate business, regulatory, and technical requirements into user journeys, flows, wireframes, and

high-fidelity interfaces

- Drive product thinking, participating early in problem definition, solution discovery, and

experience strategy

- Ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility across digital experiences in line with brand and

design system standards

- Design and evolve scalable design systems for enterprise-level products

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Business, Legal, and Compliance teams

- Present design concepts, rationale, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence

- Mentor junior designers and review work to maintain high design quality

- Create interactive prototypes to validate ideas, test usability, and align cross-functional teams

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in Figma (UX flows, UI design, components, auto-layout, prototyping)

- Ability to seamlessly work across UX research, interaction design, and visual design

- Strong understanding of usability, information architecture, and interaction patterns, especially for

transactional products

- Excellent visual design skills with attention to hierarchy, typography, and consistency

- Experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade design systems

- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear, intuitive user experiences

- Good understanding of product development lifecycles and technical constraints

- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in Product Design (UX + UI), preferably in fintech, banking, or large scale

consumer platforms

- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work and problem-solving depth

- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and highly collaborative environments

- Ability to own design decisions independently while aligning with business and compliance needs
