Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Airline Ticket Refund Executive to manage end-to-end refund requests for airline bookings. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Airline Refund Processing, with good knowledge of ticketing systems. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel and MS Word are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Process airline ticket refunds accurately according to airline policies and fare rules.
- Review PNRs, fare calculations, waiver codes, and refund eligibility.
- Coordinate with airlines, internal teams, and travel agents to validate refund requests.
- Maintain and update refund tracking reports and documentation in Excel/Word.
- Handle customer queries via email or call with clear and professional communication.
- Ensure timely resolution of refund cases to meet SLA timelines.
- Identify incorrect or duplicate transactions and ensure corrective action.
- Support audit and compliance requirements as needed.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Airline Refund / Ticketing / GDS / Travel Process.
- Good understanding of refund rules, fare types, penalties, and waiver processing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, filters, pivot preferred) and MS Word.
- Strong communication and coordination skills (written & verbal).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases at once.
Good to Have
- Experience working with GDS (Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo).
- Knowledge of BSP/ARC processes.
- Exposure to airline customer support or travel agency back office.
