JobPurpose
The SeniorTechnician supports the day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance ofAHG's buildings and venues, ensuring that all facilities, equipment andbuilding systems remain safe, functional and well-maintained. The role isresponsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities, contractorcoordination, facilities administration, compliance monitoring and operationalsupport across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
Building operations
- To conduct regular building inspections, preventive maintenance of building facilities including electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing and sanitary, fire protection system, AV system and checks and to recommend appropriate action to rectify any fault, damages, etc.
- To ensure preparation set up and operate all basic portable AV equipment in time for services and events.
- To supervise service contractors work and to ensure that work is done efficiently and effectively to ensure the highest standards in terms of cleanliness and aesthetic quality.
- Provide logistic support for events and ensure smooth operations.
- Work and coordinate with outside contractors/suppliers on facilities and equipment repairs, furniture moving, electrical projects, painting work and light construction, etc.
Building works & maintenance
- To call for quotations, recommend contractors and supervise contractors work.
- To coordinate repair and improvement works.
- To attend to complaints/requests from tenants/occupiers and liaise with all relevant parties concerned.
- Ensures that proper safety measures are taken by the contractors and their staff.
- To upkeep all property assets in good order.
- To supervise and coordinate all IFM services e.g. cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and other service contractors work.
- To supervise and coordinate all other contractors and works, including ad-hoc, event set up, etc.
Administrative
- Request for Purchase Requisition.
- Verify Delivery Order, Job Sheet, Service reports and invoice upon job completion.
- Monitoring and issuing of inventories.
- Writing of reports e.g. activity reports, incident report, etc.
- Monthly meter reading. Check, record and report faulty meter.
- Tabulation of Fault Masterlist, Monthly IFMA KPIs and service reports, etc.
- Verify and approve permit to work, method statement, risk assessment from contractor.
- Prepare and update building specifications.
- Liaise and carry out pre inspection and handover/takeover of units/space.
- Liaise with project studio hirers on entering unit for repair works.
Others
- To carry out and assume any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by AHG management.
- CERT Team and Basic Fire Safety after course completion.
- First Aider after course completion.
- Deployment and cross-train across multiple AHG venues.
Qualifications& Experience
- At least NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management or commercial building operations.
- Experience in museums, arts venues, theatres or similar environments would be advantageous
- Rostered Shift duties (including weekends and public holidays, as required by venue operations).
