Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives driving Uber's HR technology transformation.
  • Manage delivery across multiple HCM modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Payroll, Time, and Absence.
  • Collaborate with HR, Engineering, and vendor partners to define project scope, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Oversee execution across configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, and change management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage interdependencies, and resolve blockers across global teams.
  • Drive consistent delivery frameworks and governance using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and metrics effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Foster strong collaboration across time zones (U.S., EMEA, APAC) and promote a culture of partnership and accountability.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure scalability of the HR tech landscape post go-live.

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Manager in IT / Enterprise Systems.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale ERP or HCM implementations (Oracle HCM, Workday, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of program management methodologies, including Agile and hybrid models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business domains.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.

Bonus point if:

  • In-depth understanding of HR technology and processes (Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Recruiting).
  • Prior experience with Oracle HCM Cloud or other enterprise cloud implementations.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder alignment skills in a matrixed setup.
  • PMP or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
  • Experience working with distributed global teams and external vendors.
