Job Title: Senior Technical Principal Engineer (MERN Stack)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical Principal Engineer with strong MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) expertise to lead architecture, engineering execution, and project transitions from external vendors to internal teams. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, mentor teams, and ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical architecture, solution design, and technology strategy across multiple projects.

•Drive vendor-to-internal project transitions, including code reviews, architecture assessments, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

•Make key technical decisions and establish engineering best practices, standards, and governance.

•Design scalable, secure, high-performance cloud-native applications.

•Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Business stakeholders.

•Lead and mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and support technical growth.

•Own technical planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery execution.

•Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.

•Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, deployment strategies, monitoring, and operational excellence.

•Drive modernization initiatives, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

•10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in architecture/principal engineering roles.

•Strong hands-on experience with:

oReact.js, Next.js, TypeScript

oNode.js, Express.js

oMongoDB

oREST APIs, GraphQL

•Strong knowledge of:

oSystem Design and Solution Architecture

oMicroservices and Modular Monolith architectures

oDesign Patterns, SOLID Principles, Clean Architecture

oSecure Coding Practices and OWASP standards

oCloud platforms (Azure preferred)

•Experience with:

oAzure Services, Containers, Kubernetes (preferred)

oCI/CD pipelines, DevOps collaboration

oJira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum methodologies

oGit branching strategies and release management

oMonitoring, Logging, Incident Management, RCA
