Senior Technical Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and evolution of our enterprise product platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend architecture, cloud-native application development, microservices, distributed systems, and AI-powered product development. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can architect scalable solutions, mentor engineering teams, collaborate with product stakeholders, and own the complete software lifecycle from product ideation through production deployment and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale product features and platform capabilities.

Own end-to-end delivery of product initiatives from requirement analysis to production deployment. Design and build scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, Flask, and Node.js.

Architect and maintain distributed microservices using RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Build and integrate AI-powered product capabilities including LLMs, RAG pipelines, intelligent document processing, and workflow automation.

Design scalable REST APIs and event-driven architectures for high-volume enterprise applications.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, UX, DevOps, and Business teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. Lead architecture reviews and establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, API contracts, and best practices.

Optimise application performance, scalability, reliability, and cloud infrastructure costs.

Implement observability using centralized logging, distributed tracing, and monitoring frameworks.

Drive CI/CD automation and deployment strategies for rapid and reliable product releases.

Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure platform availability, reliability, and operational excellence.

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, AI frameworks, and engineering best practices to enhance product capabilities. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise.

Strong proficiency in Python. Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Flask. Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems. Strong knowledge of REST API design and backend architecture.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS/Azure.

Strong database expertise with PostgreSQL, SQL, and Oracle databases.

Experience with RabbitMQ. Experience working with OCR, Document Processing, or Intelligent Automation platforms. Strong understanding of software design patterns, system design, and scalable architecture.

Experience in production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills. Preferred Skills

Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Experience with Google Document AI, Google Vision API, or similar document intelligence platforms.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

Knowledge of observability tools including Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and centralised logging.

Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native application development.

Exposure to banking, fintech, OCR, KYC, or enterprise document processing products. Leadership Responsibilities

Lead and mentor engineering teams by promoting engineering excellence and best practices.

Conduct architecture and design reviews for new product initiatives.

Drive technical decision-making aligned with long-term product strategy.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and product architecture.

Ensure engineering quality through code reviews, design validation, and continuous improvement.

Champion innovation by evaluating new technologies, AI capabilities, and development methodologies.
