Key Responsibilities:
Dashboard Design & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
- Publish and manage dashboards on Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud.
- Build visually rich, user-friendly, and performance-optimized dashboards.
Data Visualization & Storytelling
- Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations.
- Develop advanced Tableau features such as LOD expressions, calculated fields, parameters, and filters.
- Ensure strong data storytelling for actionable business insights.
Data Management & SQL Development
- Write and optimize SQL queries (basic to advanced) including joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
- Work with relational and cloud databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
- Develop stored procedures using PL/SQL and T-SQL where required.
Data Warehousing & Modeling
- Apply data warehousing concepts such as star schema, fact/dimension modeling.
- Understand modern data platform architecture and data modeling fundamentals.
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency across reporting layers.
Performance Optimization
- Optimize dashboard performance and improve load times.
- Manage extracts and live connections efficiently.
- Tune queries and data models for scalability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
- Convert business needs into scalable BI solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing dashboards.
Tableau Administration & Governance
- Manage Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud environments.
- Ensure governance, standards, and best practices in BI reporting.
- Maintain documentation and reporting standards.
ETL & Data Integration
- Work with ETL processes and tools such as Informatica, IICS, or Alteryx (preferred).
- Support data pipeline integration for reporting systems.
Analytics & Advanced Tools
- Use Python or R for data analysis where required.
- Support advanced analytics initiatives and automation in reporting.
Domain Expertise (Preferred)
- Exposure to Pharma / Healthcare / Life Sciences analytics.
- Experience with commercial, sales, marketing, or financial dashboards
