Senior Structural Engineer

Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Structural Engineer role is based in Mumbai. The Senior Structural Engineer will lead structural design for RCC and Steel projects, perform detailed structural analysis and calculations, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing and validating designs prepared by junior team members, providing technical guidance, and supporting peer review, value engineering, and constructability assessments for complex projects. The role involves close collaboration with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders, preparation and review of CAD drawings and technical documentation, and participation in client meetings to present and explain engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Structural Analysis and detailed structural Calculations, including the use of relevant design codes and standards.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing, and coordinating structural drawings and details.
• Experience with RCC and steel design, including constructability reviews, value engineering, and peer review of designs.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring junior engineers in a consulting or design environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Familiarity with relevant Indian and international building codes and standards; professional certifications are an advantage.
