Senior Sql Database Administrator

Pre-Requisites

• Monitor, maintain SQL server databases and troubleshoot problems that may arise.

• Experience in SQL Server Clustering and HA technologies including mirroring, log Shipping, failover cluster, and various replication technologies would be an advantage.

• Experience writing T-SQL and stored procedures and query tuning on high transaction systems

• Experience in SQL server installation, upgrades, and migrations.

• Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Effectively coordinate and communicate with all the stakeholders (internal teams and clients).

•Experience in Solar wind- DPA Monitoring Tool.

• Experience in configuration and troubleshooting Always-on with multiple replicas.

• Experience in upgrading SQL Server 2000 to latest editions (SQL 2016, SQL 2019)

• Must have experience in handling replication on SQL 2000& 2016.

• Developing reports like DB growth, backups, disk space availability.

• Applying service packs on SQL 2005 & 2008 & 2008 R2 & 2016.

• Experience in Handling Log shipping.

• Maintenance activities on large size databases without down time.

• Understanding the execution plans & provide recommendations to application to improve the performance.
