In your new role you will:

• Lead procurement activities of R&D Capex and IT, FM construction professional services and other commodities for Infineon India.
• Work with a CFT teams to understand and finalize end users requirements for timely closure of open RFQs.
• Review the quotes and make a comparative analysis to help make the procurement decisions
• Identify, evaluate and launch suppliers in India to support Infineon India's procurement requirements.
• Coordinate and drive tasks necessary to complete projects within a designated cost, quality and time frame.
• Act as liaison between suppliers, end users for technical, cost, and quality communication.
• Report effectively as per the required frequency on the status & progress of the projects using appropriate communication tools.
• Support in maintaining the procurement database
• Coordinate with finance for timely payments to vendors.
• Work with global / regional category managers to support global category strategies
• Ensure compliance with Infineon guidelines and processes while discharging your duties

Your Profile

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's in engineering / commerce with 12 to 14 years of sourcing & procurement experience with manufacturing related companies.
• Proven track record in Strategic Sourcing / procurement.
• Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and should be multi-lingual to be able to effectively communicate to suppliers across India.
• Experience in working in a global organization with regular interaction across multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a cross functional fashion with all companies, departments, and employee levels in the organization.
• Resilience, determination and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to analyze data, be resourceful, and initiate proactive timely, well-thought-out decisions.
• High degree of ethics and personal conduct.
• Must be able and willing to travel both domestically & internationally as required.
