Role Overview

The ALM Engineer CTR is responsible for the configuration operation and support of Application Lifecycle Management platforms used to govern build test transport release and operational monitoring activities across SAP and integrated enterprise systems

This role supports end to end lifecycle execution by enabling compliant release workflows transport management test coordination and operational visibility while aligning with Evernorth change security and audit standards The contractor works closely with SAP Basis Development Change Management Security and Infrastructure teams

Core Responsibilities

ALM Platform Administration Configuration

Configure maintain and support ALM platforms such as SAP Cloud ALM andor SAP Solution Manager ChaRM ITSM Focused Build

Enable and support ALM capabilities including

oProject and release management

oTransport and deployment coordination

oTest management and validation tracking

oIntegration and system monitoring

Support platform transitions and enhancements eg Solution Manager to Cloud ALM

Release Transport Management Support

Coordinate application transports across Development QA Stage and Production environments in alignment with approved change records

Ensure release and deployment activities follow defined workflows approval gates and segregation of duties requirements

Support HotNews security notes and defect fixes by enabling traceability across build test and deploy phases

Change Compliance Alignment

Align ALM execution with Evernorth Change Management requirements by

oIntegrating releases and transports with approved change records

oEnsuring required ALM artifacts test evidence approvals logs are captured

Support audit and compliance activities by providing ALM evidence for

oRelease approvals

oTransport histories

oTest execution and validation results

Monitoring Reporting Operational Visibility

Configure and maintain ALM monitoring capabilities including

oSystem and integration health

oJob and interface monitoring

oing and analytics dashboards

Provide operational insights and reports to support release readiness incident response and continuous improvement

Documentation Continuous Improvement

Develop and maintain ALM documentation runbooks and standard operating procedures

Identify gaps in lifecycle execution manual steps missing controls tooling limitations and recommend improvements

Support adoption and usage standards for application and technical teams interacting with ALM tools

Required Qualifications

Experience

6 years of experience in Application Lifecycle Management Release Engineering or SAP Technical Operations

Hands on experience with SAP Cloud ALM andor SAP Solution Manager ChaRM ITSM Focused Build Monitoring

Experience supporting complex SAP landscapes S4HANA ECC integrations middleware

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of

oEnd to end SDLC and ALM methodologies

oSAP transport management and release workflows

oChange and release governance in regulated environments

Familiarity with audit compliance and segregation of duties requirements as they relate to ALM tools

Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills within ALM platforms

Ability to coordinate across development basis change and security teams

Detail oriented with a focus on traceability control and platform stability

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager certification

ITIL Foundation Certification

Experience supporting healthcare financial services or other regulated enterprises

Exposure to BTP based integrations or hybrid SAP landscapes

CTR Role Clarification

This role is hands on and execution focused

Contractor does not own people management or architectural authority

Strategic roadmap tooling decisions and policy ownership remain with Evernorth leadership

Contractor executes within established standards and governance frameworks
