The Employee Communications Sr. specialist is a dynamic and creative individual responsible for creation, planning and implementation of internal communications strategies across Salesforce India. The primary goal is to keep employees well-informed, aligned, inspired, and deeply connected to the Salesforce culture.

This individual will serve as a communications partner for our business stakeholders-such as our Human Resources (Employee Success) team, India Operations, Finance, Health and Safety, Real Estate and Workplace Services, etc. on planning and executing their respective internal communication activities across the region.

We are looking for a brilliant writer with a knack for leveraging digital capabilities and graphic design to convey messages. This is an excellent opportunity for someone willing to bring fresh perspectives and creativity to enhance engagement across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Communications Strategy: Work with the India Communications team to plan, develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies, ensuring employees are informed about our goals, priorities, and progress.
  • Communications Partner to Business Teams: Partner with business stakeholders to understand upcoming initiatives, develop integrated communication plans, and execute them to provide the best employee experience. This includes drafting organizational announcements, presentations, messages, talking points, Slack/email copies, FAQs, and other support materials.
  • Content Creation: Craft memorable, engaging, cross-channel communications (email, Slack, digital screens, blog posts, videos, etc.), aligning with our company values, culture, and style to drive awareness and inspire employees to take action.
  • Handling Events: Plan and execute events/calls for all employees such as All Regional Calls, Executive Town Halls, and other in-person/ hybrid events, utilising technology for engaging experiences.
  • Support Employee Engagement Programs and Employer Brand Initiatives: Design eye-catching communication campaigns for India-wide events, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience through right channels.
  • Operations and Reporting: Work effectively with the International Communications team and the Global Communication organization through shared processes at all levels within the team and the broader organization. Track campaign results and work with our team and business partners to apply key learnings into future plans.

Experience/skills Required

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications or a related discipline; preferably in a high-tech or fast-paced environment.
  • Brilliant communicator and highly creative writer with a proven track record in developing and executing internal communications plans.
  • Ability to grasp information across disciplines and create clear communications.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Successful collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in leveraging technology for communication and engagement.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and results-oriented.

Desired

  • Bonus points if you've got talent in recording and creatively editing engaging videos!
  • Experience with Slack, project management tools, analytics, and/or the Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platforms are a plus.
